SEOUL, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) — A worker in his 30s was electrocuted at a construction site in South Korea’s capital Seoul, Yonhap news agency said Tuesday citing the police and the fire authorities.
The worker, who was in charge of pouring concrete, was found to collapse to the ground at about 5:30 p.m. local time Monday (0830 GMT Monday) on the 34th floor of an apartment construction site in Seoul.
He was taken to a hospital undergoing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) but died.
The police believed that the worker suffered electric shocks and was killed after checking the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage. ■
